Biography
Dr. Yasir Zwain is the Head of the General Surgery Department at Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Teaching Hospital.
He is a specialist in gastrointestinal, liver, and gallbladder surgery, gastrointestinal and breast tumors, thyroid surgery, hernia repair, and minimally invasive (laparoscopic) procedures. Dr. Zwain actively performs these surgeries and is a Fellow of the Iraqi Board of Medical Specialties, a member of the Iraqi Surgical Society (S.I.S.), and a member of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity (IFSO).
